God is in everything

Good morning friends.  It’s a very good morning to me as everything said, God is everywhere,  God is in everything.  I was reading an article of an actress and how she believed that God is really in everything.  Let me share it with you as it is a good one.

Actress Eisha Koppikar believes God is in everything!

You find God in…

“For me, my parents are true manifestations of Him. God is everywhere — in nature, in human beings, in animals. Once you feel connected with God, you begin to enjoy life. I can feel God all around me in everything that I do, everywhere I go and within myself.”

How do you connect to God?

“I feel connected with God on a one-to-one level. If I need something or have any doubts, I talk to God! Our conscience or the inner voice is God keeping us on the right path.”

Karma & kismat to you are…

“I believe in kismat and that one has the power to change it. Destiny is always in our own hands. I believe good thoughts lead to good habits, which lead to good actions. These actions, when directed well, lead to good intentions, which make you who you are and that leads to one’s destiny. I believe in karma. My dad always says, ‘Put your best in everything that you do and don’t worry about the results’. Our experiences are also based on our past-life karma. We must try to correct our wrongs and approach life positively. Karma and kismat are closely interlinked.”

True contentment lies in…

“I am no spiritual guru and am still trying to get there. Knowing you are happy can amplify your happiness. Once you notice that something is pleasurable, you can increase your happiness by savouring the experience. Whether it’s appreciating a particular moment, the beauty of a rose, a job well done, or a trait I love in someone, the little things make me happy.” – The Times of India

Explore the path of spiritual living (1 of 2)

Good morning everyone.  There are some people who has materialistic living.  They found happiness on that.  But did you know that you will have the best part of your living spiritually?  Just explore the path to your spiritual living and you will see the best meaning in your life.  There is one article I have read and it shows the way on how to discover or see the sights of spiritual living.

Is spiritual practice a must for everyone?

You have to insulate yourself from the effects of worldly living. The environment has its strong impact. The external world is in a rat race for greed, glamour and respectability. It does not bother about real joy and purity. Naturally, external influence affects an individual. In this rat race even if one wins one continues to be a rat. Glamour gives you an illusory joy but your soul needs to grow.

‘Why does a fish in an ocean try to jump out?’ asked a Zen student.

‘The fish is trying to explore a world beyond the ocean,’ answered the Master.

Consciousness in each one of us is like a fish that wants to explore the unknown, to evolve and grow. If you do not insulate yourself from negative forces, there will be a leakage of energies and that would hamper your growth. So it is necessary not to struggle in life and not allow negativity to control your life. One has to learn to float in life, to let go, let in the essentials and negate unessential feelings.

How can I insulate myself from negative influences?

People live life in fear. It is out of fear that they worship; out of fear they get married; out of fear of insecurity they beget children. Whenever fear emerges, there is a leakage of energy. Fear creates a hurt body and it then tries to survive by quoting philosophy and logic.

Money creates a false sense of independence (1 of 2)

Good morning friends.  Some people, money is their God.  Money is everything.  Money creates a false sense of independence.  They said . . . money is the root of all evil.  But we should always remember that It must be use in a right way.

Money gives one a sense of freedom and ownership. We believe that with money we can own anything, that we can put a price tag on anybody’s services.

Ownership of something means total control of its existence. When we buy a piece of land, we feel that we own it, although the land continues to exist even after the owner is no more. How can we own something that outlives us?

Money also gives the idea that we are powerful and independent, blinding us to the fact that we live in a world of interdependence. We depend on farmers, cooks, drivers and the services of so many people around us. Even an expert surgeon cannot operate by herself. She depends on others. Because we pay for their services, we overlook the fact that we depend on them.

If we look at why most people with money are arrogant we will find it is because of the feeling of independence that money brings. The awareness of dependence on the other hand makes one humble. The basic human quality of humility is taken away by a false feeling of independence.

Can money really reflect the worth of a person? We cannot put a value to human life. Wealth can be attained through one’s skills, abilities, inheritance, or through corrupt means. The means of attaining wealth brings its own consequences. The very motive for corruption is peace and happiness. Yet peace and happiness remain elusive when the means are corrupt.

As possession of money creates the illusion of independence, money is often referred to as maya. A Sanskrit phrase sums it up: Miyate anaya iti maya – That which can be measured is maya.

Virtue is timeless

Good morning  friends.  Virtue is timeless.  Yes I believe in that.  We should be always positive in a good quality of something.  We should have good quality of life and that should endless.  I want to share with you what I have read.  It’s good and many of you will get good idea which can apply in real life.

They said spirituality visualize our life.

Spirituality can exist in affluence as well as in poverty, says Milind Deora.

For me, spirituality is about finding your own God, and happiness is about being content. Spirituality and affluence are not inter-related. Spirituality can be there everywhere, both in affluence and poverty. For me, spirituality means looking for attaining bliss in knowing who you are.

Virtue is timeless. So, even in today’s time where money, gloss and glamour get a premium in everyday life and its portrayal in the media, the winner is always the person who lives by some values. Be it business, politics, sports wherever you may glance.

A person looked up as a national icon is not because he/she represents a certain lifestyle, but more because of a set of values he/she represents. So yes, honesty, integrity, loyalty, perseverance and hard work still matter and work.

Even in my personal life, I have seen its relevance, may be because we were taught the importance of ideology, compassion and empathy. At the end of the day, what matters is not how powerful you are or how much you have in your bank account. Rather, the values you live your life with.

When I look around, I see signs of awakening among the upper middle class who used to lie low earlier. It was the underprivileged section who would come out on the street rallying for a cause. But today, be it a public interest litigation or a protest movement, the upper middle class is also showing their support.

My only worry is the urban English-speaking youth. They lack the sense of empathy that they can only inculcate from their parents. The onus lies on their parents and school teachers. They must appreciate Bill Gates and Warren Buffet not because they are rich but because they are great philanthropists.  – The Times of India

Try to create positive karma

Good morning friends.  In our life, there will always be good and bad, happiness and sadness, positive and negative karma.  The important is that how we can take situation in a good way.  One actor said that we should try to create positive karma.  I want to share you how he expressed about it.

I believe you can enjoy the material chase and pleasures, and still remain detached.

It’s Krishna’s philosophy of Raj Yog . Krishna was a Raj yogi , He believed in attachment with detachment. You can be interested in life, but not get obsessed with it. It’s about detached attachment. You enjoy life with whatever you have. After all, Krishna lived in the golden city of Dwarka, enjoyed life, yet He was very spiritual. That’s what we should also try to do with our lives.

We should try to create positive karma around us, it’s our way to get moksha . First, we have to choose our path. We have to decide our karma .

This is kalyug , everyone has aspirations, and we have to survive the rat race. So, the question each individual needs to ask – what is my karma? Different souls have different paths. We have come on earth to experience life. We need to internalize, meditate and find our paths. Don’t get swayed by success of other people. That’s their soul journey; you have another. Don’t indulge in negative karma; it creates hindrances. Be a positivity magnet and attract the positive into your life.

You know I was an actor, then I became a politician and got elected as an MP. But in 2006, I asked myself where I was going; I got my answer – to go back to acting. Politics wasn’t my journey. It was negative. I couldn’t achieve what I should have. I’ve realized one should take responsibility of your decisions. And that’ll take you on the path of peace and prosperity. Enjoy the present by shedding ego -1

Good Morning Friends, I was reading following article and it was so nice, I like to share with you all. Not easy for all to understand I think but it’s really easy to follow once we understand it.

An average person always thinks he is above average. The perception of ‘easy and difficult’ is the result of one’s state of being. The self with arrogance is ego.

Swatting a fly is ‘difficult’ for some, while killing thousands is ‘easy’ for others like terrorists. Dropping the ego is easy when we realise that we are less than a dot in this vast cosmos. It is foolish to live with the illusion that we are the centre of the cosmos. Dropping ego becomes difficult when we have this illusion.

In any circle there is a centre and a circumference. If the centre of your life is hope then you will experience deficiency. If the centre of your life is enjoying the moment, living in the moment, being total in the moment… then hope will be a circumference… then it is not a problem.

Let kitchen items be in the kitchen and bathroom items be in the bathroom. If they are placed elsewhere, then there is a problem. There is no problem with ‘hope’ as such, as long as it is in the circumference and not in the centre. Be alive to the present.

Optimism

Optimism is an outlook on life such that one maintains a view of the world as a positive place. It is the philosophical opposite of pessimism. Optimism is individual views believes that world is good and people in the world are positive people. Optimists generally believe that people and events are inherently good, so that most situations work out in the end for the best.

A common conundrum illustrates optimism-versus-pessimism with the question; does one regard a given glass of water, filled to half its capacity, as half full or as half empty? Conventional wisdom expects optimists to reply, “Half full,” and pessimists to respond, “Half empty” (assuming that “full” is considered good, and “empty”, bad).

Another paradox sometimes associated with optimism is that the only thing an optimist cannot view as positive is a pessimist. Pessimism, however, as it acts as a check to recklessness, may even then be viewed in a positive light.
